The US Congress passed a provisional appropriation bill to prevent the government from closing on October 1: US Senate and the House of Representatives recently passed a $147 billion temporary appropriation bill to avoid the federal government closing on October 1. The bill will take effect immediately after it is signed by US President Trump. The three interim bills passed this time are called minibuses
